~WORKING BETWEEN BALI & MELBOURNE~

Therapies to revitalize your senses and restore balance to your life.

1. Sound Meditation

Deborah works with the traditional Chinese medicine method, Using natural acoustic sounds taking you back to nature. Different instruments will relate to various chakras in the body with different frequencies. The idea is that when our natural vibrations get out of tune, it is the root of illness. The instruments change the vibrations and get the body back into its own vibrational state.

We offer private group sessions, sound for yoga retreats, corporate businesses for health and well being. All groups benefit from sound. Please call to inquire about booking.

2. Cupping

Cupping is a safe, traditional treatment that helps resolve chronic muscle tightness and pain faster than massage therapy alone. It increases circulation, encourages tissues to release toxins, reduces anxiety.

When the cups glides across your skin, your parasympathetic nervous system engages. This promotes deep relaxation to move through your entire body (Your parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for slowing your heart rate, assisting in digestion, and increasing intestinal and gland activity).

3. SOUND MASSAGE

Sound Massage is a unique holistic method of working with sound & vibration. Therapeutic sound bowls are placed gently on the body and used in the auric layers around the body. The vibrations of the bowls on your body bring you to a deep state of relaxation. Sound massage is a fantastic option for those that do not enjoy regular massage as there is minimal use of hands in this method. Touch is used on the body but only to signal the placement of bowls.

4. HOT STONE MASSAGE

Helps relieve muscle tension and pain. Heat has long been used to ease muscle tension and pain, Reduces stress, anxiety and Promotes sleep.

5. Sonic Acu Points

Vibrational healing with Tuning Forks provides an effective option for needle sensitive patients and children, and works well in place of—or in addition—to traditional needling techniques for accessing and nourishing the Qi and the body’s meridian system.

In addition, a therapeutic value is placed on the natural decay that occurs when an activated tuning fork nears the end of its vibration. With tuning forks and singing bowls, this gradual vibratory diminishment allows time for the more subtle and beneficial harmonics and overtones to occur. Applied vibration is effective because sound waves travel extremely well through water. The body is 70-80% water, making it an excellent conductor and resonator of sound. Vibratory tones travel through the inner landscape of the body to help remove blockages, alleviate stasis and pain, and increase the flow of vital energy.

6. Color Therapy

Color therapy, also sometimes called chromotherapy, is an alternative remedy and form of art therapy that utilizes color and light to treat physical and mental health conditions.

The main idea behind color therapy is that different colors evoke different responses in people. Some colors are considered to be more stimulating and energizing, while others are more soothing and calming.
Based on this idea, it may be possible that color exposure can impact one’s overall mood, motivation, sleep, outlook, appetite and decision-making.

7. Sports / Remedial Massage

Sports/Remedial massage can stimulate the blood supply, make joints more mobile, and help to repair damaged tissues. Deborah will aim to balance the length, tone and tension of muscles and tendons, which restores the correct position of the bones, increases blood flow and helps heal injuries.

8. Dry Needling

Four benefits of Dry Needling

Inserting an acupuncture-like needle into the trigger point relaxes the muscles, boosts blood flow, diminishes inflammation, and triggers a healing response. This treatment also improves nerve communication and activates the release of your body’s natural pain relievers.

The activities sparked by dry needling result in four benefits:

  • Get Fast Pain Relief
  • Regain Your Range of Motion
  • Improve Chronic Pain Conditions
  • Accelerate Your Recovery

Whether you suffered an injury or had surgery, moving your body is the best way to promote healing and speed up your recovery. Physical therapy is the primary treatment during your recovery. However, adding dry needling to physical therapy accelerates the process.
